I. PRIVACY DISCLOSURE
NovaSift is engineered to provide high-precision device hygiene. We prioritize your digital boundaries by ensuring that our tools remain functional without harvesting your identity.
On-Device Analytical Boundary
NovaSift identifies and removes obsolete APK files, residual application data, and temporary system caches.
Scoped File Access: To perform its core utility, the application requires the "All Files Access" permission.
Local Processing Guarantee: Every byte analyzed during a scan is processed exclusively on your physical device. We do not maintain the infrastructure to mirror, upload, or inspect your file names, folder structures, or document contents on any external server. Your data stays in your hand.
Technical Ecosystem & Third-Party Partners
To ensure technical stability and measure our market distribution, NovaSift interfaces with a limited number of technical service providers. These platforms handle pseudonymized telemetry, not your personal files.
Firebase (Google): We utilize Firebase for real-time crash diagnostics and performance monitoring. If NovaSift encounters an error, a pseudonymized technical log (device model, OS version, and stack trace) is generated to help us troubleshoot.
Attribution & Analytics (e.g., Adjust, AppsFlyer): These frameworks help us understand which marketing source led to an installation. They process technical identifiers such as your Advertising ID (GAID or IDFA).
Isolation Firewall: These partners are contractually prohibited from accessing your local storage or associating technical events with your real-world identity.
Legal Grounds for Processing
We process information under the following legal frameworks:
Contractual Necessity: The local analysis of file metadata is required to deliver the optimization services you have initiated.
Legitimate Interests: We utilize non-sensitive technical IDs to defend against fraud, secure our software environment, and evaluate our commercial growth.
Your Rights of Data Sovereignty
NovaSift recognizes your absolute authority over your information. We honor the following rights:
Right of Access & Knowledge: You have the right to know if your data is shared or sold. NovaSift does not sell your personal data. Sharing is strictly limited to the technical partners listed in Section 2 for operational maintenance.
Right to Access & Rectification: You may request access to, or the correction of, any inaccurate or incomplete personal/technical data held by us or our partners.
Right to Erasure (Deletion): You have the right to request the total deletion of your data. Deleting the NovaSift app immediately purges all local scan history. For technical telemetry held by partners, our DPO can facilitate a purge request.
Right to Lodge a Complaint: You are explicitly entitled to contact a regulatory authority or data protection supervisor in your jurisdiction if you believe our data handling violates legal standards.
Retention and Data Lifecycle
Local Scan Results: This information is ephemeral. It exists in the device’s volatile memory only during an active session and is cleared upon task completion or app termination.
Technical Telemetry: Non-identifiable data held by third-party partners is retained for the minimum period required for aggregate reporting—typically 12 to 24 months—and is then permanently anonymized.
Choice and Opt-Out Mechanisms
Disallowing Sharing/Sales: While we do not sell data, you can prevent technical sharing by enabling "Limit Ad Tracking" (iOS) or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (Android) within your system settings.
Revocation of Consent: You may revoke storage access at any time through your device settings, which will instantly terminate all application functionality.

II. END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)
Grant of License
NovaSift grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the software on a single device for your personal maintenance, subject to these terms.
Usage Restrictions
By utilizing NovaSift, you agree not to:
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the cleaning algorithms.
Use the application to intentionally interfere with system-critical files required for device stability.
Modify, redistribute, or commercially exploit the software.
Intellectual Property
The NovaSift name, branding, and proprietary logic are the exclusive property of the developer. No ownership rights are transferred to you under this license.
Disclaimer of Warranty
NovaSift is provided "AS IS." While we strive for precision, we do not warrant that the app will identify every redundant file or remain entirely free from technical errors. Users are responsible for reviewing items flagged for removal before confirming deletion.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NovaSift and its creators shall not be liable for any accidental loss of data, performance issues, or indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the software.
Termination
This agreement is effective until terminated by you (via uninstallation) or by us. We reserve the right to revoke your license immediately if you violate any terms of this EULA.
